#209 | My Biggest Lessons from Rebuilding My Business from the Inside Out

Shownotes

7 months ago I made a radical decision: I decided to rebuild my business from the inside out. Having gone through a massive identity shift as an entrepreneur, I knew I couldn’t simply rinse and repeat what had worked before…

I felt the huge urge to change my work and business, but at the same time I didn’t know what that would look like yet. So in December 2025, I asked myself: “Why did I start this business in the first place? What was the vision? What did I want it to feel like?” Then I decided to strip away everything that no longer felt aligned, and started rebuilding from the inside out.

Now that the first months of 2026 have passed, it's time for an update. These are the lessons I learned – and what nobody tells you about going through a massive brand evolution.

Much love,

Nicole

PS: This is a longer episode, but it's solid gold! Save it and come back to it again and again.

00:00:53: It's basically, uh-uh picture of me have my face And blue glove on the other side of it says seven month ago.

00:01:01: So if you want to read through the post?

00:01:03: We don't know about time we can do that.

00:02:12: And I'm going to be talking about a couple of things that are not, a lot of people talk about and I think it's so important To give you a true picture like not a polished one but really also some insights into what's been going on behind the scenes.

00:02:27: That has been hard and challenging.

00:02:30: So here we go Okay?

00:02:32: So seven months ago basically in December twenty-twenty five i made A radical decision.

00:02:39: I decided to rebuild my business from the inside out.

00:02:44: And in January, twenty-twenty six, I posted a post to my Instagram saying My Vision for Twenty-Twenty Six and it was basically a post announcing where i would take this brand In Twenty-twty Six.

00:03:00: So why did do that?

00:03:02: Because...I had gone through A massive identity shift.

00:03:08: four, I would say it took one and a half years.

00:03:11: It started in well the first wave of its starting in twenty-twenty three even And then there was another layer to that had started into early twenty-four and it went on Into The end of twenty five.

00:03:28: i would Say the core Of That shift Went On for One and A Half Years.

00:03:34: So at the end of twenty-twenty five, I knew.

00:03:37: I just couldn't simply rinse and repeat what had worked before.

00:03:41: And if you don't know me for new in my world Just like a short wrap up.

00:03:47: I'm Nicole.

00:03:48: I'm a multipreneur.

00:03:49: i've been an entrepreneur for ten years.

00:03:51: by now I launched and Created several companies and brands and this is mine.

00:04:00: It's my have to think about it not well let's take fast trip down memory lane.

00:04:05: So actually I'm a corporate girl, I quit my corporate career in twenty sixteen and was on several marketing roles ranging from the automotive industry to FMCG.

00:04:18: so Fast Moving Consumer Goods...I had really great jobs in corporates!

00:04:22: So i Was A Corporate Girl And The Last Job I Had Before I Quit Was A Very Lovely Great Fantastic Job in online marketing of a very well known automotive brand.

00:04:36: So I quit that job and twenty sixteen, And the first thing I launched was an own publishing brand.

00:04:43: so it was a publishing company launching books design travel guides for people who love great design and don't want to follow The beaten track when traveling.

00:04:56: That was my first company.

00:04:58: then Worked as an interior designer.

00:05:01: I worked as a stylist, I worked As a consultant building websites for other people... ...I work as freelance writer and author For lifestyle magazines And so i did A lot of things!

00:05:13: I don't want to go too deep into that Because then im gonna like Burst this whole episode.

00:05:18: It's going be too long.

00:05:19: So thats just my background.

00:05:21: In the mid of the corona crisis I started This business.

00:05:27: My first program launched in December, twenty-twenty.

00:05:32: I started this business and I started it targeting women who wanted to make a change in their corporate career.

00:05:42: so i started by addressing or talking to Women Incorporate So women wanting To Make Bigger Career Transitions.

00:05:52: And when I say that?

00:05:55: BMW and I want to work at Audi in the same role.

00:05:58: No, that's not a big career transition.

00:06:01: That's just like a change in jobs.

00:06:03: but i addressed women who wanted To really change something Who you know?

00:06:10: Wanted to leave their corporate jobs.

00:06:12: who wanted to try to work on a job portfolio Consisting of different roles for awhile.

00:06:18: who wanted?

00:06:18: two found a business.

00:06:20: who wanted make us a badical And then come back and do something different entirely.

00:06:26: who wanted to work part time instead of, you know juggling an eighty hour week.

00:06:34: Then found something on the side.

00:06:36: so those were women going through huge like gigantic career transitions.

00:06:43: and at the core a career transition Like that is identity shift full stop.

00:06:49: it's an identity shift because Here in the Western world, and I think you are from the western world.

00:06:56: If you're listening to this podcast probably we were attaching so much meaning to our careers like it's a big part of our identity.

00:07:05: So that's why when you do a big career transition You will inevitably go through A Big Identity Shift?

00:07:14: That is my background!

00:07:15: Thats what i started doing.

00:07:17: And then In twenty five I've actually grown out of doing that.

00:07:45: Had founded their businesses around twenty, twenty.

00:07:48: Twenty one.

00:07:49: that's like when a lot of people entered the online space.

00:07:53: I don't need to explain why you know Why and So.

00:07:59: but what happened was?

00:08:00: A lot of People Founded Their Businesses Based Upon Five Step Frameworks Ultimate Blueprints Of Other People.

00:08:08: You Know All These Courses That You Could Buy In Twenty Twenty Twenty One basically teaching you how to build an online business.

00:08:18: And so now five years later, six years later a lot of women like I haven't seen that many woman pivot as in twenty-twenty-five and twenty-six.

00:08:29: it's insane!

00:08:31: It makes so much sense because when you've built your business upon blueprints other people.

00:08:38: That is great You know, it will give you something to start with.

00:08:47: But there will inevitably come a point where you will find yourself asking okay I cannot really scale Something that isn't fully mine?

00:09:00: You can not scale something That's not fully yours and that is why A lot of women in the B-to-B marketplace started pivoting In their businesses in twenty, twenty five and twenty-twenty six.

00:09:13: And what is that?

00:09:14: Well surprise, surprise.

00:09:15: it's an identity shift!

00:09:18: Because I saw that at the same time there were not a lot of people talking about career transition as an entrepreneur.

00:09:29: There weren't like NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT WHAT TO DO WHEN SUCCESS DOESN'T WORK.

00:09:34: ANYMORE THERE WERE NOT A LOT OF PIEPLES TALKIN' ABOUT WHAT to do when you've grown out your business as an entrepreneur, and you don't find yourself scaling to the moon.

00:09:45: You know going from ten K months to twenty K to fifty K to a hundred K but actually stagnant.

00:09:53: or you might find yourself in an income dip?

00:09:55: Or you might found yourself having totally grown out of your target group.

00:10:01: And so then... you're inevitably going through big identity shifting The core principles of going through that, the tools even to master.

00:10:16: That are exactly the same tools than I've been working with my clients on On The Other Side so in the BTC marketplace facilitating identity shifts, facilitating big career transitions and a btc landscape.

00:10:33: So this is just for context.

00:10:35: you know what i'm talking about?

00:10:39: I myself found myself having grown out of my previous target groups and women in corporate.

00:10:45: And at the same time, I had just gone through a big identity shift myself.

00:10:50: At that same time... ...I've found people going though this thing but not talking about it in the B to B marketplace.

00:11:02: So i have found huge gap And I found that the thing I had been doing for five years with my corporate clients actually was pretty much the same in a B to B marketplace.

00:11:16: So, I felt huge urge to change my work and business but didn't really know what i wanted it look like yet.

00:11:25: so back into story.

00:11:29: December twenty-five I booked a VIP day with one of my mentors, Emily.

00:11:35: And we sat down in Amsterdam and really spent one entire day.

00:11:39: it was the day before New Year's Eve because i love to move fast.

00:11:44: so I said to Emily can we do that this year?

00:11:48: She is like Jesus Nikki!

00:11:50: Well basically its Christmas next week its new years eve.

00:11:57: sure you want to do this now.

00:11:59: I want to do this now because, i don't wanna enter the new year with old stuff.

00:12:29: Can be all you need to allow yourself, to really pivot or shed old things.

00:12:37: Or early make some radical decisions that you wouldn't be able to do if you were just like in some masterclass?

00:12:44: Or consuming content are listening to podcast episodes because sometimes what you needed somebody to mirror back to you would have already know.

00:12:55: and That's what Emily did for me.

00:12:56: so We sat down and I asked my size, why did I start this business in the first place?

00:13:01: What was division.

00:13:03: what Did i actually wanted to feel like?

00:13:06: And then I decided to strip away everything that no longer felt aligned and I started rebuilding The female purpose brand from the inside out.

00:13:14: so here's what I did.

00:13:15: after That VIP day I Decided To retire Everything that No Longer Felt Aligned.

00:13:24: So Programs especially my core program, female purpose which was a three month.

00:13:32: Program that I'd been running successfully for five years.

00:13:36: there had been hundreds of women making huge career transitions with that program.

00:13:42: I decided to not launch it again.

00:13:45: I retired all my funnels.

00:13:47: so no ads No freebie funnels nothing II.

00:13:54: even I even retired my membership.

00:13:57: I think it was in January, like really stripped back everything to the core and i only kept My one-to-one clients And I only took on new One-To-One Clients.

00:14:08: That's The Only Thing I did.

00:14:11: So the second move Was?

00:14:12: I pivoted from German To English Something I'd been wanting to do for a long time For context here because A lot of you have Been asking me about this Move.

00:14:23: So what you have to know about me is I grew up in Sweden, which is a country where English has A completely different role than it has in Germany.

00:14:33: so i've been living in germany for thirty years and came here when i was fourteen.

00:14:42: I soon realized that English doesn't play the same role as a language in German society, because Scandinavia is small countries.

00:14:56: So they're very dependent on learning other languages.

00:14:59: so if you've been to Scandinavia pretty much everyone speaks English fluently and accent free.

00:15:09: For example, movies aren't dubbed.

00:15:12: So if you go to a cinema in Stockholm let's say or I don't know Copenhagen You will see that everything is In its original language and there are just like subtitles.

00:15:24: so And also the English kids learn.

00:15:29: The Swedish kids Learned english so much earlier than in German school.

00:15:36: English has always been something, like a language that was very close to me because of that.

00:15:42: And also I studied in English completely... ...I took my bachelor's and English and my master's degree.

00:15:49: so that is the language of my studies.. ..and i have big international circle friends.

00:15:55: So it´s a language thats very close for me!

00:15:59: Um, I'm having to think now.

00:16:04: I've been having mentors coaches for...I would say the last eight to ten years coaching and mentoring me in English.

00:16:13: So this language was so close to me And it's strange.

00:16:19: but i find like can express myself more freely In english?

00:16:25: I don't know why It is a very weird thing But its I don't go into my head as much.

00:16:32: And, as i said...I don't know why it's like that but its just easier for me to express myself in English and at the same time..i found out okay!

00:16:41: Im gonna be moving to Amsterdam more about that on another episode because otherwise im going to talking for hours so long.

00:16:49: story short we moved a part of our life to Amsterdam last week cause we bought houseboat.

00:16:57: Um, house on a water and it's our second.

00:17:00: It's our third home.

00:17:02: And that also prompted me to do this move now because if I'm going to be living partially in Amsterdam which is all so you know the Netherlands as same with Scandinavia.

00:17:18: those are countries.

00:17:19: or the Benelux States?

00:17:21: Those are countries where English has just... You know its very close to population And a lot of people are very good at it.

00:17:29: So same thing there, I thought well i'm gonna be having clients from Amsterdam and im not going to able serve them if keep doing my content in German.

00:17:39: so being close with the English language for one thing also wanting to serve bigger international audience on other hand made me make that move so pivoted from german into english and I stopped doing podcasts in German, like everything pretty much everything switched to English.

00:18:04: So what i did then was...I took my work from.

00:18:08: no the third move was- I'm having to think now also a third move is that I stripped down My Work To The Core Of What I Do Best And That Is Really Facilitating Identity Shifts And Helping Now Pay Attention Closely Female entrepreneurs who are going through a brand evolution, rebuild their business from the inside out.

00:18:32: Previously I'd been helping corporate women Who wanted to do career transitions?

00:18:39: But as i said before The core of my work stayed the same Because whether you're going Through a career transition and it be to see landscape in the corporate landscape or You're going through entrepreneurial career transition as a female leader and entrepreneur, it's the same principles.

00:19:01: The context is different but the principles that are going to get you through that are exactly the same.

00:19:08: so I took my work from the B to C to the entrepreneurial space because i saw this huge gap in the B-to-B marketplace.

00:19:18: So those were the shifts.

00:19:19: One...I retired everything that no longer felt aligned.

00:19:23: Two, I pivoted from German to English.

00:19:26: Three, my work to the core which is facilitating identity shifts and i took that core From B-C to B-B marketplace.

00:19:38: So those were big changes.

00:19:41: Now that the first months, so basically to first seven months of twenty-twenty six have passed.

00:19:48: It's time for an update and that was also what Instagram post I talked about in a beginning out.

00:19:53: this podcast is about.

00:19:55: So these are the lessons i learned And These Are Also Things That Nobody Tells You About Going Through A Massive Brand Evolution.

00:20:04: This Might Become A Bit Longer Hang in there, but it's solid gold.

00:20:10: I promise you.

00:20:11: so save this episode and come back to it later or go To the Instagram post on my feet at female purpose.

00:20:18: all right Let's start with the challenges.

00:20:21: The biggest challenge is So.

00:20:24: one of the biggest challenges was really finding the right balance because Having stripped backed everything that no longer served me No longer felt aligned to the core Or just too back to doing only one-on-one and at the same time trying to keep some momentum was incredibly hard.

00:20:44: Ain't gonna lie, it was incredibly heart because when I like in January February had a lot of time on my calendar And that felt great To be honest Because i've been working a lot It would be a lie to be saying That I haven't worked a lot In the last five years.

00:21:01: I have been working A LOT!

00:21:05: Ten one-on-one clients, a group program.

00:21:09: Other containers Instagram lives like.

00:21:12: I've been doing a lot and I haven't really putting in the reps especially in the beginning of my business so they were.

00:21:21: there were months over last month's where i wondered How have I ever managed doing that?

00:21:30: Like several calls a day, membership group program one-to-one clients all at once then the podcast and other formats like.

00:21:40: And i'm not sure I want to go back to running my business like that.

00:21:43: just one example.

00:21:45: I haven't had a Thursday off since five years maybe two or three Thursdays but Other than I haven't had a Thursday off since five years, because that was always the day where I was serving my group clients.

00:22:02: So the client's in female purpose and my core legacy offer or other formats.

00:22:10: And while that's fine, i'm not complaining about it.

00:22:14: this is not about complaining but its just like...I felt like wow now I have a thursday off!

00:22:22: It was heavenly to have that in my calendar at the beginning.

00:22:26: But, My lesson from this is I'm a very radical person who doesn't feel activated by smooth transitions.

00:22:36: but next time i go through transition like this would probably retire old offers gradually To keep some of them momentum going and then enter new phase rather than just cutting everything away.

00:22:51: a lot of space in my calendar, because what happens then is at first it feels great.

00:22:59: And then it really starts feeling like God.

00:23:01: when am I going to do with all this time?

00:23:04: and there's the thin line between having too much time to overthink and having space to create new things.

00:23:22: So the second challenge was really pivoting in language.

00:23:26: Honestly, I was shocked to see how many people left my word when I decided to do that.

00:23:32: and there wasn't massive like massive signouts from my email list.

00:23:38: And I had been building this list for years so thousands of people on the list.

00:23:44: any huge drop in podcast streams?

00:23:46: Like a huge one.

00:23:47: When I say huge as a huge Sure, I knew this wouldn't be a smooth transition.

00:23:53: But I didn't see this.

00:23:54: many people leaving.

00:23:56: and I had one of my dear colleagues Ramona oxenbauer on the podcast several couple of weeks ago And we talked about this because she made that same move a couple months ago.

00:24:08: when she said The Same Thing.

00:24:10: She was like yeah That Was Shocking!

00:24:13: And she said something very interesting About that...she Said you know what?

00:24:18: People love to consume in their comfort zone language.

00:24:23: So for a lot of people, and she said... She took herself as an example.

00:24:30: German probably is the comfort-zone language like.

00:24:33: it's easier to consume than German.

00:24:35: It feels You don't have to listen as hard.

00:24:38: you didn't have focus as hard maybe.

00:24:41: And that's ...that's the thing For a lot Of people.

00:24:44: when I followed one of my mentors who then pivoted from German to English.

00:24:50: I also slowly slipped out of her world, like because it was uncomfortable for me to consume her stuff in English.

00:25:01: So when i'm concluding on this It must be the same for a lot of previous followers.

00:25:06: But at that time and so interesting!

00:25:08: I received so much incredible feedback especially and that makes me laugh for my English.

00:25:17: Like they were, your English is so great.

00:25:19: it's nice to listen to it although I'm not even a native speaker.

00:25:24: So thanks ladies.

00:25:27: It made my day like you sending all this messages.

00:25:31: Oh i love listening to your english.

00:25:33: its perfect!

00:25:35: I am getting better.

00:25:36: of course Its not flawless but just fine, and I'm not here for perfection anyway.

00:25:44: So did i regret this move pivoting in language?

00:25:47: No!

00:25:48: I would absolutely do it again.

00:25:51: but um no... Not bot..I will do it Again because to me It's so much easier To express myself In English And its aligned with who I want to serve in the future.

00:26:05: And those clients Who stayed are actually my dream Clients Because My ideal ideal customer, my ideal client is fluent in English.

00:26:15: Is somebody who moves on you know?

00:26:20: In international ways.

00:26:21: let's put it like that he moves internationally.

00:26:24: Who is at home and the world.

00:26:27: so That is one hundred percent aligned And also with me having moved a part of my life to Amsterdam.

00:26:34: It's lined and what I learned from this.

00:26:37: Transitioning to another language will make people mass unfollow you.

00:26:42: They will, it will but that has nothing to do with YOU and its probably nothing Comfy language.

00:27:01: So if their comfy language is German, well they might not want to listen to you speaking English But it's worth that anyway If the move is aligned with your natural self-expression and The long term vision of your business And I'm not here for the short term i am Here For a Long Term and That'S why I decided To do this?

00:27:30: What's also been very challenging is creating a new body of work takes longer than I thought.

00:27:36: And you have to know that, i'm somebody who loves to move fast!

00:27:40: I do not sit in procrastinate...I don't sit with things for ages and call that reflection....that's not who I am.

00:27:52: But when it comes to creating new offers, the first half of twenty-twenty six taught me that was not how this is gonna go down for me.

00:28:00: That's what I'm talking about because whenever i tried to come up with a new offer... ...I actually ended up recycling more old stuff and just wrapping into shiny packaging.. ..with a ribbon on it saying oh this isn't you!

00:28:19: This wasn't YOU offered but IT WASN'T.

00:28:22: And it's so funny and that is also the reason why I couldn't make myself launch.

00:28:26: It, I couldn' t make my self do it!

00:28:30: I had things sitting in my Google drive...I even have a perfectly ready sales page for one offer..and i could not make myself launched because my subconscious told me no this actually not new....this more of same just wrapped up in a different packaging.

00:28:52: And my lesson from this is, and this was hard one I had to proactively unlearn the way that industry taught me how create offers.

00:29:02: an unlearning rules you've been unconsciously following for years takes time.

00:29:09: so This Is Why I Decided To Focus On One-to-One Work in the last months until I was able to actually come up with something truly new and innovative.

00:29:21: And yes, there's something coming more In The Last Minutes of this episode More about that at the end.

00:29:28: but This has been hard because.

00:29:33: But it is not a contradiction if you're somebody who likes to move fast You need to be sitting and cooking on this for a while, probably because A new body of work is something that's gonna build the foundation Of your new or then you era in your business.

00:29:55: So it's really worth it.

00:29:56: To take your time here And I know a lot of people are preaching he should move fast.

00:30:02: He should not procrastinate yes But this is different.

00:30:07: There's no answer to this when it comes to creating you offers and I didn't want to create more of the same, just putting a new packaging on it And then suggest myself well You've been very productive.

00:30:19: No So creating in your body or work might take longer than you think and longer that i thought for sure But it's worth it because the new body of work, It is something that will carry your business in next months or even years.

00:30:36: Another challenge has been saying no to potential sales!

00:30:41: Because honestly I got so many requests from my previous target group last month.

00:30:48: So women into corporate world wanting a career transition And most of them came from older episodes off this very podcast.

00:30:58: So they were like, Oh I consumed your episode and now I see you've been pivoting but do you still offer the old thing?

00:31:05: And I sent most of these people away unless They told me You know what.

00:31:11: This is What i want and I saw a chance to work with Them on A level that feels aligned.

00:31:17: But Most of them were asking for the old offers.

00:31:21: So I said, no and turning these requests down has been hard especially when taking on these clients would mean easy cash flow ain't gonna lie about that because i'm in an income dip right now.

00:31:35: And it's not because uh It is like it's the logical consequence Of the decisions That I've made Right?

00:31:48: because I have a bigger perspective, A bigger vision.

00:31:53: So it's just part of my bigger vision and i knew It would happen.

00:31:57: but at the same time its uncomfortable Because I used to Have MRR locked in And I use To have so much more you know cash flow In last years.

00:32:11: So it's tempting to say, well, ah, It's not a hundred percent aligned.

00:32:14: But I'm going to take on this client because then have cash flow and this has been hard.

00:32:20: there is no lot of people talking about this but it is hard.

00:32:25: so let switch to the game changers than what were that things really helping me rebuild my brand from the inside out?

00:32:35: And really bringing these new body of work forward?

00:32:40: One of the biggest game changers has been leaving the bubble.

00:32:44: If you want a fresh view on your business, I would really encourage you to zoom out from time-to-time and doing that made me realize how much have been marinated in coach content?

00:32:58: Let's put it like that in last years.

00:33:00: And while there is nothing wrong with that Like.

00:33:02: There Is Nothing Wrong With That.

00:33:04: The online Business Bubble is great.

00:33:07: There are so many beautiful people in this industry and I love a lot of them, others i do not love.

00:33:14: but it can also make you blind.

00:33:17: And what I learned from This Is In the last months ,I've actually been getting So much more inspiration From real life From Not being on Instagram Not consuming alot But from nature Art Design A Great Concert a good read, like a great book rather than from spending hours in coaching universe consuming the content of my bubble.

00:33:45: And although I'm part of a mastermind right now it's high-level mastermind and it was a high five figure.

00:33:54: invest i found myself... consume all of the content in there either, because it makes me generate more of the same thoughts.

00:34:06: Like I really wanted to plug out off that industry for a while and just tap into some of the calls and be very intentional about what I consume on that space?

00:34:21: Because I really found that I thrive outside the bubble right now And that's something I wanna encourage you to do as well.

00:34:30: Like if your in a state of transition, You might want leave your bubble... ...you might really find inspiration elsewhere and real life In going through great exhibition.. ..and go into the museum or taking holiday to place.

00:34:45: you haven't been before Things like that because that is gonna fuel new thoughts and not more than the same.

00:34:55: So another game changer has been getting in touch.

00:34:58: And this is something a lot of people don't want to talk about, but A LOT OF YOU ARE ACTUALLY NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR PEOPLE!

00:35:06: A lot of you and if I'm calling you out thank me later need to plug back IN with your people.

00:35:14: You NEED to get in touch with your community.

00:35:17: And getting in touch with your community is not putting on a masterclass and having a funnel running the, you know selling that master class.

00:35:26: And showing up for an hour and then calling that a day?

00:35:28: That is not getting in touched with your people.

00:35:31: Getting in touch With Your People Is Actually Also Having Real Conversations.

00:35:36: Where Would That Be?

00:35:37: In The DMs Or In Live Formats?

00:35:40: Or Actually Picking Up The Phone getting on a zoom with someone from your community, and that is something so many women have been brainwashed into believing.

00:35:53: That reaching out asking questions or talking to their community dilutes their authority isn't on brand or somehow damages the reputation...that's bullshit!

00:36:10: And in last months I'm telling you I've invited colleagues for Zoom calls.

00:36:16: I've reconnected with former clients that haven't been talking to you years even, and had conversations with women in my world who didn't know yet about what women really want, crave or need right now.

00:36:32: My lesson from this is so important when your face of rebuilding won't just know the market needs unless And no, you're not too elevated to ask and know.

00:36:48: that doesn't dilute your authority.

00:36:51: Cause co-creating your next offer alongside your potential clients Your community Doesn't make you less of a leader.

00:37:01: It's the highest level of service You can provide.

00:37:04: I want so many more women To really get very clear on that.

00:37:12: So where are you not connecting with your people?

00:37:16: Where Are You Not Getting In Touch, Where Are U Not Serving Your People?

00:37:20: Because Honestly That's What We Came Here To Do Isn't It.

00:37:25: And Yet I See A Lot Of People Like Leaning Back Plugging Out Like Oh No!

00:37:30: I Just Want to Do Passive Offers and Be Lying in My Hammock Slurping a Coconut & Bali.

00:37:37: Then I Want Sales Coming In But Don't Be In This Business.

00:37:41: Then I'm dead serious and that's a hill.

00:37:45: I'm willing to die on.

00:37:47: Why did you choose?

00:37:48: To work with people?

00:37:49: if he don't like people If you don't want to be in touch with people, that's absurd.

00:37:55: It is absurd.

00:37:57: So getting in touch Is something i would encourage every woman to do all the time not just when You want something or need Something Or needed sale but really asking questions And not just getting into your head about, oh I think my community could need this.

00:38:15: No but do you know though?

00:38:17: no You don't.

00:38:19: so This has been a huge game changer and i talked to...I Think it was twenty one women..and I really made My notes from that!

00:38:27: ..And I saw patterns and It's been So so helpful with regards To what im creating.

00:38:32: next Let's come to the things That surprised me.

00:38:38: What surprised Me is I've been blind to my own genius.

00:38:43: Lately, i've been getting more and more requests for offers I never even offered on the front end of my

00:38:49: business.".

00:38:49: And you have to know in the first months of twenty-twenty six there was pretty much crickets!

00:38:55: ...and...I knew there would be crickets.

00:38:57: why?

00:38:58: because..i changed everything.

00:38:59: ..i pivoted in language ,i change my target group .i stripped back....my work to its core ....and added new topics at the same time like such as self-expression, creativity.

00:39:12: Those were a lot of changes.

00:39:14: so of course there were crickets!

00:39:17: Of course people left.

00:39:18: that's just the normal like side effect of doing these moves.

00:39:22: but then I would say maybe from March or April?

00:39:27: i started getting more and more requests for offer...I never even offered.

00:39:32: So people landing in my DMs or coming from podcast episodes, asking about my one-to-one packages.

00:39:39: And the thing about these offers that really struck me is they were not pure coaching containers.

00:39:46: They were all a mix of coaching mentoring consulting and strategy work.

00:39:51: And so I thought well there's nothing usual about that.

00:39:55: Well that's just...well i can offer.

00:40:01: It struck me in the most random moment.

00:40:04: And I thought, well since I started this business i've put almost a decade of marketing expertise In The corporate world and another decade Of being a multipreneur into A metaphorical drawer.

00:40:22: Yeah it was really like a drawer with a lock on it Because I Was so focused On aka Being a coach.

00:40:32: So I put all this experience of twenty years.

00:40:35: It's insane when i say it into some kind of drawer and I took the key, And I threw it away and I focused on being a coach.

00:40:45: When at the core... ...I'm also a strategist A creative A consultant An ex-corporate girl with almost ten years of experience in diverse marketing roles.

00:40:57: A creative who has worked as freelance writer stylist an interior designer A mentor not just sharing tips from her current business, but drawing from ten years of entrepreneurship and building different businesses.

00:41:11: And yes I'm also the obvious certified systemic business coach Just for protocol.

00:41:18: But what i learned is sometimes we're standing so close to ourselves that We can't see our own genius Our unique edge Like obvious skills that we've taken for granted, but there are everything.

00:41:35: But obviously other people.

00:41:38: and what I realized from this is it's really time to unapologetically own all of that now And it's time to really take that out of the drawer again.

00:41:50: And one thing in that something i just realized had at this moment like In most random moment?

00:41:57: I was walking taking a walk on the cemetery.

00:42:00: There's a beautiful cemetery next to our home and I was taking a walk.

00:42:05: And suddenly, I was like oh...I'm the curator!

00:42:10: That too?

00:42:11: I've always been that what i do best.

00:42:15: I have always been somebody who curates her life.

00:42:20: Always since I was little girl.. I curated beauty design interior websites books guides My home, if you've ever been to my home.

00:42:35: You know how beautiful it is and I'm Even in my coaching business.

00:42:41: i'm a curator of All these things.

00:42:45: It's who I am at the core And I'm creative an artist.

00:42:50: Its' my identity.

00:42:52: Also that part has been hidden for so long Because I found myself, you know trying to fit in some kind of mold.

00:43:00: Of being a coach and the coach is not supposed to share any of that on her feed.

00:43:05: And if coaches not support posts to show any beautiful pictures of interiors because that's going to confuse the audience and all of that bullshit?

00:43:14: With that realization... ...I actually decided to bring it back to the brand!

00:43:20: It has been hard.

00:43:22: It's been hard to really find a way to integrate it back, but that's something I want to do more moving forward.

00:43:30: So what's new?

00:43:33: Let's talk about that and then we're going to come to the last point which is what's coming next.

00:43:37: so What's

00:43:38: New?,

00:43:39: I've integrated new channels because That was also Something i would always encourage you To Do Is play with new Formats Play With New Ways of Making Content.

00:43:52: And I started a telegram channel, I think it was in February where I just ran.

00:43:59: A thirty day challenge or I think It Was A Twenty One Day Challenge and we're just starting riffing on different topics.

00:44:06: and were I took you to a deeper level than I do in this podcast even because I thought that being on the Telegram Channel is a different dynamic because people can react they can comment There can be a group where people, you know interact among each other.

00:44:25: And I just felt like audio is something i love to do and it feels easy and natural.

00:44:32: so I expanded the audio channels in my world and I took this telegram channel and brought it to life.

00:44:39: It's called The Female Purpose Broadcasts and its gold mine for YOU.

00:44:45: If your going through an identity shift if your evolving as brand or female entrepreneur This is a gold mine.

00:44:52: Full stop, go to it.

00:44:54: you'll find the link in the show notes.

00:44:57: I started writing on substack and that's something i wanted.

00:45:02: do really have some platform where can only play with content or its not necessarily about coach content like mentoring style content Everything that inspires me, or there's more topics like travel and design.

00:45:24: Also personal development but it self-expression things I experienced behind the scenes.

00:45:31: And one big learning There is.

00:45:32: i started It before I went on my yearly summer holiday.

00:45:37: So I started Before.

00:45:39: I went for four weeks almost of holidays And then we relocated to Amsterdam.

00:45:45: So I haven't been publishing, I think a sub-stack for four or five weeks now which is fine but it's just the big learning like next time.

00:45:55: i wouldn't start that in a phase where I know I'm gonna be offline a lot because Now I'm having to you know reconnect and get back on it.

00:46:04: But nevertheless this is a new channel Where I really experiment with my thoughts.

00:46:11: And we're at don't write with AI because I do not want to do that.

00:46:15: Although I'm pro AI, I love AI and an AI girl.

00:46:20: I do now wanna use it for my content because I think the greatest thing you can do is really train ourselves express ourself in word and language and there's a huge growth opportunity that comes without.

00:46:37: so I wanted to be organic.

00:46:39: I wanted to come from me and yes, you will find a new article in your column on it.

00:46:47: It's called the Sunday edit now that coming upcoming Sundays.

00:46:52: so i'm gonna start writing there again because no back from holiday And its been beautiful experience very much.

00:47:01: Also reintroduced sales calls.

00:47:05: Now That is something I could be talking about for an hour, but I will make it short.

00:47:11: A lot of women have been brainwashed into thinking that sales calls are the plague.

00:47:20: you're supposed to get rid of them as soon as possible and if you don't It's not going to Make You Look Like The Authority.

00:47:26: If your accessible its Not Going To Make You Looks Like The Authority And You Should Not Be Doing That.

00:47:31: And Its Worst Ever.

00:47:32: i think thats bullshit...i Think Its Bullshit..I Removed Sale Calls.

00:47:37: I Think It Was In .

00:47:40: Because I started to feel like there were not the right people inquiring about my offers and The sales calls weren't draining because i put a lot of effort into them And then, A LOT OF PEOPLE DIDN'T SIGN.

00:47:55: But that wasn't BECAUSE MY OFFERTS Weren't great It was BECAUS.

00:47:59: I SPOKE TO THE WRONG AUDIENCE!

00:48:02: As I said...I could be diving in now.. I'm NOT gonna do THAT IN THIS EPISODE.

00:48:05: I reintroduced sales calls this year, and it's been the best experience ever.

00:48:35: who gets access to me in a sales call.

00:48:39: So it's more about doing a pre-auditing process, and it's all the... All about also talking to the right audience in your content because then you will have the right clients inquiring about calls.

00:48:52: so it's not like sales calls are NOT THE PROBLEM THEMSELVES!

00:48:57: It'S THE WAY THEY'RE SET UP.

00:48:59: IT'S THE WAY YOU ARE ADDRESSING THE PEOPLE WHO BOOK YOUR CALLS.

00:49:03: AND FROM MY OPINION Getting on a sales call and my sales calls, by the way are not sales calls.

00:49:09: They're clarity calls where we use thirty minutes to identify the exact gap between Where you are?

00:49:15: And where do want go in your business even if You don't even know where you wanna Go!

00:49:19: Your gonna leave with so much Clarity.

00:49:22: it's insane.

00:49:24: In.

00:49:24: My new client Nadine Many greets to you.

00:49:27: My love, if he listened to this she left from the sales calls and she was like, whoa I have so much clarity.

00:49:34: I had four exact steps to execute on now And one of them that i can implement right away?

00:49:42: I feel fantastic!

00:49:44: This is so much value.

00:49:46: That's what we want.

00:49:51: So what's next?

00:49:52: And then we come to the end of this beautiful episode.

00:50:03: you know, when I'm settled back into my daily routines because i'm still a bit with one foot.

00:50:18: A little in holiday mode but this is going to help me anchor the new identity of my brand and can't wait see how curator will come out on shooting!

00:50:31: And then last thing... What I'm creating next, and that is truly new an innovative.

00:50:37: Is a room that the online space hadn't seen yet And I don't say that lightly but it IS A ROOM.

00:50:45: THE ONLINE SPACE HASN'T SEEN YET And i've been thinking about this format since February to be honest But I chose not to launch It.

00:50:52: just Not Just Not Just Yet Because...I wasn't procrastinated!

00:50:57: I wanted To move with intention.

00:50:59: There's a difference between That.

00:51:02: So, I wanted to find out whether this was something women actually craved before bringing it to life.

00:51:08: And that's why I spoke around...to around twenty women as i said before and the answer is yes!

00:51:16: This isn't another mastermind with hot seat calls or all of things you already know.

00:51:21: No..this a room for real collaboration where I am not the coach with all the answers.

00:51:29: i'm not at the center of this, i'm just a facilitator because I wanted to be a space where women truly collaborate ,where everybody contributes... ...to the genius..the expertise ..the wisdom in this space and it's-it's a place for brilliant creative women....with diverse backgrounds.

00:51:53: so NOT only coaches and mentors, not only coaches.

00:51:58: And mentors and service providers can think together challenging each other be vulnerable and truly build alongside each other.

00:52:07: in the best part this is The Best Part of the entire episode.

00:52:12: I Think i decided to remove one specific topic from And I know that this decision will lead to the most interesting conversation we've ever had.

00:52:51: hit me in the DMs, and I'll send you an application link or we're just ping pong a bit into DMS.

00:52:58: And I don't know if your right for this space because i'm going to vet it ,i am gonna cureated .and im not gona let anybody enter his base.

00:53:06: that doesn't fit one hundred percent!

00:53:09: It's gunna be a mix of most amazing women.

00:53:13: full stop !

00:53:16: Not your average mastermind.

00:53:18: It's a creative, experimental journey.

00:53:22: I'm not selling you a transformation.

00:53:24: it has no desired outcome.

00:53:27: It is an experimental journey really and i feel so alive by just talking about because its feels so new!

00:53:35: And it feels like something that i want to experience myself.

00:53:39: and im gonna end this long episode.

00:53:42: I hope you enjoyed it.

00:53:43: though, i'm gonna end this episode with saying one thing.

00:54:09: Having the results that you're selling at all times, That is just like if that were true.

00:54:15: Nobody on this planet would be allowed to lead.

00:54:20: Yes I said what?

00:54:22: You don't have To Be The Perfect Embodiment Of Everything That You're Selling All The Time But... You owe it Your Clients To Actually Be Excited About What You'Re Selling And That Way You Become Embodied.

00:54:39: Like there's nothing more embodied, I think than actually bringing things forward that resonate with yourself right now.

00:54:59: That you're not making sales.

00:55:07: You're gonna make sales, but the failure is... ...you are NOT going to be alive in your business and people will feel that!

00:55:14: And they'll mirror it back to YOU AND NOTHING GREAT IS GOING TO COME OUT OF THAT!

00:55:21: So this space makes me feel excited and ALIVE and I don't know what's coming out of it and that's why I'm launching it!

00:55:29: Beautiful Women This podcast has been fifty-five minutes long And I hope it was solid gold for you.
