00:00:00: I think there's a lot of women that assume because they're uncomfortable, avoid enough sales and get better at selling.

00:00:19: So that's where I love to come in with a little bit more of like the matter-of-fact conversation because for a lot of women, I'm sure your audience listening they've done the initial healing which is beginning business one hundred percent.

00:00:31: it so necessary Like i had alot triggers unconditioning patterns around money success speaking my voice Because thats what was modeled on me.

00:00:39: but when you continue do that there comes point.

00:00:44: You're not that you've done healing, but the whole concept of healing still signals to me in that language.

00:00:50: That you think your broken.

00:00:52: I need to heal my money mindset do would just need go sell more.

00:01:22: And, i thought it was so good that I invited her to speak with me about upper limits because thats something a lot of women experience whenever they go through transitions brand evolutions pivots and their business life.

00:01:37: So we talk what you do when your finding yourself getting stuck in the circle of pivoting or healing or whatever we like to call it.

00:01:46: ladies, you know what I mean.

00:01:51: That's going to move The Needle.

00:01:55: We talk about taking massive action.

00:02:17: Welcome to the Feed My Purpose podcast, I'm so glad you're here!

00:02:22: I

00:02:25: was hooked.

00:02:26: Like the other day, I went to your Instagram and I was scrolling around because you and i ended up being in the same breakout session In one of The spaces that we both You know a mastermind space That We share.

00:02:38: So it's like oh!

00:02:39: I need To Know more about this Courtney?

00:02:41: I'm gonna check out what she is doing.

00:02:44: Yeah as I stalked you And I Went to Your instagram and I really love What you talked About This upper limit topic Yeah.

00:02:55: So we're going to dive into that later, but and I was like, ooh there's so much goodness in this And there are so many things That actually when i listened To them it was like Ooh!

00:03:06: There is upper limits I wasn't even aware of.

00:03:11: Yes, they're very sneaky.

00:03:12: And I think that come in at every level of your business because you and i have been in the game for a long time.

00:03:18: so we are not like newbies but with every level you unlock their new upper limits.

00:03:23: So it was really powerful.

00:03:30: So I used to thrive on, you know doing things last minute planning launches just leaving it too.

00:03:36: You know riffing on a master class that should then sell my high ticket up like i used to sell myself that story.

00:03:44: so That was definitely powerful mirror for me.

00:03:47: Yeah, I see that a lot with for I used to very much be like that and i have some clients, you're an adrenaline junkie.

00:03:55: Like the adrenaline?

00:03:56: You liked the rush before when it's five minutes before the master class in your... And identity is also fine too being a upper limit.

00:04:05: That was really big one of mine up until twenty or twenty-five.

00:04:10: We can't keep doing this because it's exciting.

00:04:13: It's an adrenaline rush, but what happens is you actually never allow yourself to be as big as you want to be Because you keep short selling yourself.

00:04:21: I call This Is Where You're Playing Second Place.

00:04:24: Yes Yes.

00:04:26: And you actually hide behind avoidance because it is an avoidant pattern, right?

00:04:30: It's like I don't want to sit my ass down and really plan something and be intentional but that was just one thing i discovered and I wanna ask why did you decide do this challenge

00:04:45: so good!

00:04:46: I love bringing forward work.

00:04:52: the world, I would say.

00:04:53: Like i'm very intuitive in that sense and I could just really tell for myself.

00:04:57: but also what a lot of people have needed in the online space has felt like a big pivot shift evolution year.

00:05:12: Usually, and I know this is so much of your work when you're pivoting shifting evolving It's easy to kind of slow down in the shedding of it right?

00:05:19: And i really felt that for just my own evolution.

00:05:23: I saw That with amazing clients.

00:05:24: I could Just really see that The online space was starting To take their foot off the gas and i've Always been Really obsessed With what i call ferrari energy.

00:05:34: it's like Foot on the gas.

00:05:36: This Is where Like the track References Come In Like You i used to be a Trackrunner more women are not moving at full capacity.

00:05:43: And they're telling themselves this quote unquote lie that their app capacity, which really is you're so far undercapacity.

00:05:50: You're sitting too much in the thinking and shedding and yes evolution sometimes can take time but I'm like my girl.

00:05:56: you've been shedding for six weeks Like your done now.

00:05:58: Now Your just sitting there!

00:06:00: And i also Just had This feeling of...I am..this was actually The tagline Of inertia.

00:06:07: Im like.

00:06:07: I just want to go Like, it's time to go now.

00:06:09: It's not time to sit and think and wonder.

00:06:12: And I really love working with women that are not apologizing for moving big For moving fast or doing the work... ...and i could just sense That I needed this because I always put myself through my own work.

00:06:23: I've been through so many of my own upper limits My own inertia And I always find that August is such a great month for this, because we also know September going into Q-Four.

00:06:34: It's a big season and i could just really see that you know women again at every level.

00:06:40: it's like I'll start in September.

00:06:42: or they say there quote unquote selling but energetically their foot off the gas?

00:06:50: there is strategy involved, but the whole month.

00:06:52: The point as you overcome yourself and you remind yourself how big you want to be?

00:06:57: How fast do you wanna

00:06:58: move?".

00:06:58: And I've even put myself through this work.

00:07:01: The level of like aliveness that have in my work...and i've seen with women inside it's just oh!

00:07:07: This is a new standard.

00:07:09: so When I'm like, it's time to go.

00:07:13: I never keep that evolution to myself.

00:07:15: It always becomes work and always becomes a body of work And i bring that forward.

00:07:20: so i'm leading it for my clients and i've been through many Of my own.

00:07:23: inertia is Like i've said but i'm like.

00:07:26: if i need this then the world needs it.

00:07:28: So that was kind of The inspiration behind it and i think as well.

00:07:32: The first half of twenty twenty six i was doing A lot of evolving.

00:07:36: shifting.

00:07:36: twenty twenty five For me personally Was a massive a massive year in terms of restructure, I closed two programs down.

00:07:44: I brought forward six in-person experiences like my pride.

00:07:47: everything was really shifting...I was shifting and i also traveling alot every month with the exception March of twenty twenty five..i was on plane hosting an event.

00:07:57: speaking at events.

00:07:59: doing like invested a lot into my brand.

00:08:02: so i was travelling And my last event was January that I attended.

00:08:07: This is an event I spoke at and then also hosted a retreat in London, England.

00:08:11: so by the time i got home this was january of twenty-twenty six february I felt like i could take a breath because yeah they or sorry, twenty-twenty five was...I hosted a retreat.

00:08:22: I spoke on stage then I dropped my event.

00:08:24: that was eight months in the process.

00:08:26: Then I closed down.

00:08:27: um a mastermind close down my membership opened up a forty k mastermind did another.

00:08:32: Like I was just going.

00:08:33: so by the time it was like end of january of twenty six?

00:08:38: It wasn't traveling and I felt take a breath in the best way possible.

00:08:43: And that's where I was personally, and my own evolution of like.

00:08:46: okay now we've done the restructure Now We've brought forward The In-Person now we have the Offer Suite.

00:08:51: Like it Was like the now what?

00:08:53: And you know i had to really sit with That.

00:08:55: and thats Where again as i sat With that went through the Evolution in May Of this year i was like.

00:09:01: i knew i was going To bring forward inertia in august.

00:09:03: It was just Really who is the strategic timing When i Brought it Forward.

00:09:06: but yeah In that evolution, I in a good way like had another wake-up moment where i'm like oh yeah let's move fast because I was not so much of the slow energy at the beginning this year but needed to take a breath from what I did last year and it was sitting contemplating or shedding.

00:09:27: The making decisions...I moved quick!

00:09:29: But I don't...I am not impulsive anymore.

00:09:31: It used be very impulsive when you call speed.

00:09:34: That is self sabotage.

00:09:37: It's time to go.

00:09:39: And I'm ready to go all in, roll my sleeves up do the work love the work.

00:09:43: i'm not here To lean back maybe one day but right now?

00:09:46: I don't want a leadback.

00:09:47: I wanna lean it.

00:09:48: But that so important what you just said because there were a lot of things I want to get back.

00:09:52: two couple of thing.

00:09:53: So yeah You said January was like a season off.

00:09:56: Oh taking a breath and your genuinely needed That ride.

00:09:59: I can imagine it was The same for me basically Because Twenty, twenty five has been very intense as well.

00:10:05: So I'm just wondering how did you know when to lean in?

00:10:10: Because I think one point and time where a lot of women are struggling is okay.

00:10:15: so now i've taken the foot off the gas because I really need to create space on my calendar for something new to emerge.

00:10:21: we all need that sometimes right.

00:10:23: But what I see a lot and have seen it in myself as well is then you don't really find momentum.

00:10:28: And your like hiding behind your desk, can Google doc calling that brainstorming or whatever?

00:10:34: You're finding them very hard to get back on track.

00:10:36: so when did you know It was time to lean in?

00:10:39: how do you know that?

00:10:41: So for me i will Get To A Point because there's the fine line of When Your Sitting Evolving Daydreaming Over Time Can Start To Become Avoidant because then you sit in the avoidance.

00:10:54: And so I knew probably, it didn't really take much time for me.

00:11:00: I would say probably mid-April.

00:11:02: It's time to look at what this next season of Me Actually Going For Really looks like?

00:11:10: The other thing that I love doing that ignites a little bit of good urgency is having something you're working towards.

00:11:18: That was another thing, as women are working toward nothing and i'm someone who needs a target like where we going?

00:11:26: So for twenty-twenty five it's easy to have retreat or speaking on stage.

00:11:29: there were some things I worked towards when I was in the evolving and white space again there wasn't anything.

00:11:42: That's where it's easy to get into.

00:11:43: So I had that self-awareness, Where i have my...I Had a retreat in May and I knew okay?

00:11:48: I'm gonna work towards that.

00:11:50: But then come may or june essentially we gotta go because otherwise It's easy To sit in the complacency.

00:11:57: I call this cruise control where like you're showing up And your selling.

00:12:00: but it's like what are you leading?

00:12:02: Are you leading yourself at?

00:12:03: where are We going?

00:12:04: so that for me is I Have A good Awareness of Like.

00:12:09: am I shifting evolving Or Am I just avoiding.

00:12:13: And it's easy to look at.

00:12:15: because for me, when I really had to sit with you know the next iteration of my brand cause i had evolved so much especially from twenty-twenty five...I had the clarity!

00:12:24: It was just that was the upper limit..i was like ooh.

00:12:27: now i have to make a change.

00:12:29: ..now i have t shift the way that im showing up and its easier in not be like no ,no ,no ...i think i need to sit a little bit more....and Im like

00:12:35: No!!

00:12:35: You just target to work towards.

00:12:37: Because then you shift gears because you have do in good ways.

00:12:40: That's true.

00:12:41: And I love what you said in a nurse and we're going to talk about that in a minute, but you said one thing that was like, ooh, that resonated a lot.

00:12:53: That doesn't really activate me.

00:13:01: But yeah, I'm going to do the post blah-blah and then no real momentum

00:13:05: occurs.".

00:13:06: So what would you say to women in exact that situation?

00:13:10: Like okay being at home behind the desk trying to gain some momentum but then again maybe she doesn't know... Okay!

00:13:18: What would be something that really jolts my system in a good way.

00:13:23: so actually move?

00:13:25: What would you tell her?

00:13:26: I love because most people I know people can't see, but most people will just take like one or two inches outside of their comfort zone.

00:13:34: And what happens is it's not enough of a resistance for the identity to actually shift.

00:13:39: It's kind of uncomfortable.

00:13:41: and that's incremental growth.

00:13:42: i always play The Ten X move and it Can show up in multiple different ways.

00:13:46: But this Is where an A lot Of People don't Like This Conversation?

00:13:52: whether it's an amount of people that I'm going to serve or a number, not because i am chasing money but the money becomes target.

00:14:01: That is what we are working towards who have become on my way there and again in good ways that urgency something to work toward.

00:14:10: so other seasons of business its been like I want to launch retreat and hesitating.

00:14:17: In other seasons, it's I want to bring forward a high ticket offer and i've been delaying It.

00:14:21: So that becomes the thing And so I like looking at in that way Whatever the goal is that people set?

00:14:29: I find A lot of the conversation Is the energetics around it because it's easy too for me.

00:14:34: I put on a thirty day challenge and it's Like I could have sold it and then like everyone joined and People Could Have trickled in.

00:14:40: but what I had To do was my how I saw myself The Way That I Was like.

00:14:44: My goal was a thousand people, like that's where I was going.

00:14:47: Now did we hit it?

00:14:49: No am i checking on my self-worthiness?

00:14:52: no next one were gonna do five hundred next.

00:14:54: so...I love setting those targets because the way that I showed up going after a thousand Was so different than let's get twenty people in.

00:15:02: So I like setting those goals will force me in the best way possible to really be like, if you're... You have a thousand people on this program.

00:15:09: You're not showing up Like This!

00:15:10: You're Not Thinking Like This and that creates A Big Enough Gap In My Current Identity for Me To Really Look At.

00:15:17: This Is What Needs To Shift For Me.

00:15:19: So Sometimes It Can Be A Target That You Have.

00:15:22: sometimes it can just be The Way That Your Showing Up As I've Been Even Selling A Nersha.

00:15:27: There Have Been Some Days.

00:15:28: i Woken Up And I'm Like Meh my Energy's Not But Im Like I got to get in it because this is how i'm leading.

00:15:34: And that's been my own version of overcoming inertia as My new baseline Is like maximum happiness, maximum Like.

00:15:41: i'm so In my work but Because there's been days where I've woken up and I don't really feel like It today

00:15:46: Let's talk about That.

00:15:47: So what do you Do when You Don't Really Feel Like It Today?

00:15:50: What does your?

00:15:51: Do you Have Your Resources That You Always Activate?

00:15:55: How Do You Get Yourself On A State Of Okay Im In.

00:15:57: Again

00:15:58: I have a few different things that I like to do, kind of put myself into state.

00:16:04: One of the biggest thing is i'm so aware Of when thought comes up.

00:16:07: So let's say I wake Up and I am Like mmm.

00:16:10: That person said they were going To buy And They didn't or just WAKE UP!

00:16:12: And Im like.

00:16:13: I don't really know If people are Whatever those thoughts Are.

00:16:16: This Is what I call my refractory period And thats The time that im Aware of it to the Time that I shift in.

00:16:22: Most People stay too long In that.

00:16:24: What happens then?

00:16:25: That muscle Thought Belief gets bigger and stronger.

00:16:28: I'm like, no.

00:16:30: Not today and i play this game with myself because there's two versions of us.

00:16:34: There is what?

00:16:34: I call it our ego which Is the one that wants to keep her safe.

00:16:38: And then theres The winning identity but This really just who you are.

00:16:44: So im so aware Of these two voices But i let Her lead and it's little things of like.

00:16:53: I rampage with myself.

00:16:54: So if i'm getting ready in the morning, I will have a conversation with my self-like.

00:16:58: today is going to be the best fucking day in the world!

00:17:00: And even if I don't feel it...I say it..and I say it until I feel it.

00:17:04: It's like The Sun Is Shining.

00:17:05: You Have Women To Serve.

00:17:06: Today Like you are the only one that can lead these people....And just I Rampage On That In Just Five Minutes Of Doing That.

00:17:12: It Completely Shifts My State Because Im Speaking Life Over What IT IS THAT I WANT That voice thats like...i dont know.

00:17:20: it just dissipates.

00:17:21: And I love doing that.

00:17:22: the other thing, this is just for me personally but music has always been something that i've drawn a lot of creativity from so A LOT OF MY PROGRAMS like even when I was building inertia as an example...I find The name Of programs and Just Like THE FEELING.

00:17:37: because When I'm Building a program like High Ticket Mid-Ticket Low Ticket..i first start with a feeling.

00:17:42: So when I Was like finding inertia there was like a song.

00:17:46: This is the song.

00:17:47: So I have like a playlist for every season or Every offer.

00:17:51: and i like doing that because when i'm selling you know inertia as an example, I literally built A playlist called inertia in every single Song immediately shifts me into state.

00:18:01: now That works really well for me?

00:18:03: I do find just overall music Is such a state shifter Like you can't listen to a song that You don't.

00:18:10: I feel like all women Do this like you listened To a breakup song When you're not even going through a break up And then your like.

00:18:14: why am so sad?

00:18:16: It shifts your energy so much.

00:18:17: So when I listen to certain songs, it's almost like the alter ego comes out and i'm like oh...so I would say those are definitely-the two things is that I do talk myself into the state I want to be!

00:18:30: And I think thats where a lot of women because you're doing in either way.

00:18:33: Youre saying they don't feel like today or whether its in their head or out loud..you'r just going to spend time talking negatively about yourself And it's so quick.

00:18:46: and the thing is, that people are like... So I love doing that.

00:18:51: And i would say music something else.

00:18:54: but really its that radical ownership on your energy because there were a hundred percent.

00:18:59: some days I wake up and im not.

00:19:01: how am today?

00:19:01: Like Im been in new one today!

00:19:04: But its beacuse two day ago wasnt..and didn't let me mean anything.

00:19:07: I took two minutes to do have or pity party if you need to ego ,but at this minute mark we're done.

00:19:13: And then I go into, and sometimes I've done that.

00:19:15: I will set a time with the five minutes and I'm like cry have your pity party feel your emotions because i'm big on feeling we're not repressing.

00:19:22: but Then it's like what are you going to do about?

00:19:24: It and yeah The time That I move out of that that's how the muscle of the aliveness Of the there's no doubt gets stronger.

00:19:31: Because really I built it I've trained it in my body

00:19:34: True and when you say refractory period, I'm reminded of a retreat.

00:19:49: like a fog, dissolving into every space of your life.

00:19:54: And you're just gonna be stuck right?

00:19:56: So it's about really reacting and shifting in... Really realigning with your best energy.

00:20:03: so I use music a lot by the way!

00:20:05: Like i've used music in programs..i have plays for clients everything....I think its such powerful thing is an underestimated

00:20:12: tool!!

00:20:13: It's so easy

00:20:14: right??

00:20:14: Yeah

00:20:14: it's SO

00:20:15: EASY!!!

00:20:15: The other thing too that would say as I don't make thoughts mean anything I think that's the big thing is, you know women will think if they've had a unsupportive thought and negative thought or maybe there's something That actually happened in their life.

00:20:27: Or in business?

00:20:28: That's unsettling but it challenging.

00:20:31: i'm neutral around that.

00:20:32: i don't need make that mean anything But i'm wrong.

00:20:34: i'm on the right um On the wrong path.

00:20:36: something Something needs to shift.

00:20:38: i'm just like okay I'm playing the game.

00:20:40: Like, some days you're going to be up and down but what's your perspective around it?

00:20:45: How long do you sit in it get back into play.

00:20:49: That is so powerful.

00:20:51: And i would love talk about something that we should have a conversation with more often Addiction To Healing.

00:21:00: You had this very cool reel where said you are addicted When, when we're going through shifts and I see that a lot on our industry.

00:21:12: like there was an example.

00:21:13: There's a lot of discussion around regulating your nervous system.

00:21:17: Yes everything now every thing is regulation.

00:21:21: you need to regulate, regulate, regulated heel-heel heal.

00:21:25: personally i think they are times where you actually need To regulate Of course And You Actually Need To Heal.

00:21:30: But Where Do You See Women Upper Limiting Themselves?

00:21:35: Are there actually points or patterns where you can detect it and see, oh no.

00:21:39: You're in this healing addiction right now?

00:21:42: Like what are some examples of that?

00:21:44: I love this so much.

00:21:45: This is one of my favorite conversations because at the core of change Is dysregulation

00:21:50: like yes

00:21:51: won't regulate yourself to success.

00:21:54: So i think That's really important Because In my opinion, like you can't negotiate with that.

00:21:59: Like change is uncomfortable when you go to the gym and lift heavier weights Your body's under stress like your muscles actually tear And then they repair and that's how you get bigger stronger.

00:22:08: It's uncomfortable.

00:22:10: So I think there's a lot of women that assume because their uncomfortable That they need to heal something a lot of the mismatch that's coming up.

00:22:20: Do you need to heal your inner child or are you just uncomfortable because you're growing?

00:22:24: Is that a money mindset wound, or do you actually just need to stop be avoid enough sales and get better at

00:22:29: selling?".

00:22:30: So that's where I love to come in with a little bit more like matter-of fact conversation because for a lot women i'm sure on audience listening they've done initial healing which is beginning business a hundred percent.

00:22:42: it's so necessary.

00:22:43: Like I had a lot of triggers, unconditioning patterns i had to do around money success speaking my voice because that was what modeled for me.

00:22:50: but when you continue to do that there comes the point where like not your done healing But The whole concept of healing still signals in that language That you think are broken.

00:23:05: Do you, would just need to go sell more?

00:23:06: Are you just uncomfortable because you did a launch and it didn't go according to plan.

00:23:10: So that's where I love to like challenge a little bit of the ego And i've seen this a lot Because one of the sneakiest upper limits i've Seen is people think there's something in their identity They need to shift To be more successful.

00:23:25: Oh yeah That's The identity Of thinking.

00:23:28: There's Something In Your Identity Is A Loop.

00:23:30: Because what happens is, this the addiction.

00:23:33: This I call playing second place because as long you have something to shift in your money mindset As long there's more regulation What are really doing?

00:23:45: You're saying that they need to do fix heal journal about before i can be successful.

00:23:51: And thats looping!

00:23:52: You get a certain level of success.

00:23:54: You might experience dysregulation, discomfort because you're changing.

00:23:58: And then your like oh no something's wrong.

00:24:00: I need to heal.

00:24:01: this person said No and that is where i just come back too.

00:24:05: again for most women listening to this Your done healing.

00:24:12: I challenge people on this and i'm like, what if there's nothing left for you to heal?

00:24:16: What If There'S Nothing Left In Your Identity That Needs To Shift To Change Today.

00:24:20: You Can Go Be First Place And What Happens Is There'S Discomfort In That Because Now They Have To Face Themselves!

00:24:25: NOW YOU HAVE TO GO BE THAT BIGGER PERSON, NOW YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR WORLD TO ACTION.

00:24:30: NOW YOU CAN'T GET TO A LEVEL OF SUCCESS AND GO TO YOUR MENTO AND BE LIKE, ACTUALLY, I THINK THERE'S SOMETHING COMING UP WITH MY INNER CHILD AROUND.

00:24:38: There's not.

00:24:39: And that, again the loop-the avoidance.

00:24:43: and because I find upper limits become a lot sneakier as you continue to grow and do this work Because in the beginning of your business it is so obvious when you're triggered When like actually dysregulated You are starting all over healing.

00:24:57: But at least level for most women who have done alot of these works It's sneaky.

00:25:01: The ego sounds logic.

00:25:02: So what?

00:25:03: You saw this woman It reasons with you and you listen to it.

00:25:09: And then the greatest way to tell of if your in this is one, Your level of growth success?

00:25:16: That could look like an any metric growth In terms of business growth in terms Of how You're leading yourself.

00:25:21: I'd Like To Look at Certain Things that Become Measurable.

00:25:24: If The Business Isn't Growing Its A byproduct.

00:25:27: How Do See Yourself Strategic Skill Sets That Might Need To Improve Or Might need Bigger Reps?

00:25:32: But When You Really Look At That Again I've had clients say this of like, yeah there's just something in it.

00:25:39: This is the almost and i can feel my success.

00:25:41: It's almost There.

00:25:43: if its not here.

00:25:44: And when people understand that again That's The second place because as long As your second Place you're never the winner?

00:26:01: And as soon as you realize there's nothing broken, You don't need to be fixed.

00:26:09: You're completely whole.

00:26:11: You have everything that you need right now.

00:26:13: and then women are like the ego will be just fine.

00:26:15: No I don't know about because of when it is... When do get that?

00:26:19: That's the ego Justifying!

00:26:21: That's upper limit.

00:26:23: The re-patterning isn' not listening To that.

00:26:25: The repattering Is no..I Have Everything i Need To Go Forward Be Who I Need To Be Make The Money I Want Whatever That Is.

00:26:32: But then yeah, you have to acknowledge that you are first place.

00:26:34: That there's nothing else for you to fix and the action or any avoidance is out of the window can't play a game

00:26:42: anymore."

00:27:01: which will make you then change into someone else and then you'll have the result.

00:27:04: You're looking

00:27:05: for,

00:27:06: so I think that's a big lie.

00:27:07: This has to become someone else.

00:27:09: And I'm not lying like I've been in that vicious circle a lot of times, A LOT OF TIMES!

00:27:15: Then it is very sneaky because its shape shifts eventually.

00:27:19: So what really triggered your business as we said?

00:27:23: That won't be any more than this anymore.

00:27:28: patterns, like I just said in the beginning of this interview.

00:27:32: Like last minute Linda that come in and really you know... No!

00:27:36: You first have to and blah-blah-blAH a lot of things.

00:27:39: how we sabotage our growth?

00:27:41: I Really Know And Believe This Action Cures Everything.

00:27:45: It really does because In The Action You Build The Confidence You Get The Data You Understand Your Audience More You Prove To Yourself That You Keep Your Word.

00:27:52: Action Really Does Cure So Much and a lot of people.

00:27:56: that's where it's like, but I have to journal.

00:27:58: And I'm the most regulating thing in three months is pour myself into my work ten times more put me at capacity not where i am burnt out or i was so alive.

00:28:17: we can visualize on who you want become.

00:28:20: I would say the identity loop is when you just do the thing.

00:28:28: Speaking of doing this thing, there was one story in inertia that you brought and it was about you as a track runner because that's part of your life.

00:28:37: he used to be a trackrunner?

00:28:38: And i love that stories so much!

00:28:41: Because what I see women going through identity shifts into her business live have been watching pattern for years.

00:28:48: well but

00:28:49: These are my results up till now, and these are the circumstances I'm in.

00:28:54: And this is the industry and she's doing this and like they're making the outer circumstances mean so much about what they can actually achieve?

00:29:08: Yeah.

00:29:10: Faces in my life and business where things shifted really quickly.

00:29:15: And I had all the reasons to believe that this is not going to work like now, but can't be working because i've haven't experienced this before on All of the parameters in my external environment are actually mirroring back To me That This Is Not What's Happening.

00:29:30: So Could You Please Tell Us The Story Of The Trackrunner Where you Had To Shift Positions Because I Love That so Much.

00:29:37: Yes It'So Good!

00:29:39: The three D the external was always going to test us, challenge us throw curveballs

00:29:44: at us.

00:29:45: And I find too and this is so much of what shifted for me in the story Is when you keep your word to yourself and you keep doing the action You're less reactive to the outside because you actually trust yourself.

00:29:55: Because, I have a long line of and this was for me like...I knew i wasn't gonna give ending away but it's kind obvious that..i knew i'm going win the race because im in control.

00:30:05: so....i used be track & fields runner.

00:30:07: for those who don't know.....and i was running a relay ,so there were four women ....i was one of them and we each had to run One of the strategies.

00:30:20: that for those who are familiar with running or relays, you'll know this.

00:30:23: But For Those Who Don't one Of The Strategies is your first runner which Is Your Starter and Your Anchor Which Is Your Last Runner Or The Fastest Runner.

00:30:30: So You Get Out Of The Gate Quick And Then You End Really Fast.

00:30:33: Now I Was Always The Anchor.

00:30:35: i was One Of The Fastiest Surprise Surprise but I Was One OfThe Fastest Of The Four Women On The Team.

00:30:40: So I was always the anchor.

00:30:42: I trained to be the anchor, The way I got everything that i did in practice leading upto this incredible race That we were running as a team.

00:30:49: ,I trained To Be The Anchor.

00:30:51: Now This Was A Race Where We Had To Qualify To Then Go You Know Run At The National Level.

00:30:57: so We had To Become Top Two And We Were Favoured To Win For That Race Given What Our Times Was.

00:31:02: .So The Race Starts and for Context one lap around the track at t of us running was about a m seconds to a minute.

00:31:11: So it' time, The first girl is on s. we don't have too much tim.

00:31:19: um so or like an adren runner are starter.

00:31:25: she does.

00:31:28: She was supposed to for whatever reason.

00:31:30: I don't remember why, but she didn't get us a head start the way that she was supposed do.

00:31:35: so she's running and second place is not second place.

00:31:38: our second runner Is about to go on?

00:31:40: And my coach.

00:31:41: So that's the first external.

00:31:42: The three D is like we're favored to win Our first starter.

00:31:46: this is again out of my control.

00:31:47: i can only control me On the track.

00:31:49: Me running the race First or starter Didn't start the Way That she could.

00:31:53: We're now in fourth Place so were behind.

00:31:56: So I could have freaked out and it was like, doesn't matter.

00:31:59: I'm in control of what?

00:32:02: goes on again, we're fourth place now.

00:32:04: And my coach comes up to me and I'm against still thinking that were gonna be...I am running last the

00:32:10: anchor.".

00:32:11: He's like,"I moving you to third".

00:32:13: Now he did this strategically-you can think of him as a universe because he sees something bigger than what it is for us.

00:32:31: and run it already on.

00:32:33: So again, there was a moment where I wasn't not agitated but like fuck!

00:32:38: Like I thought i had two more minutes.

00:32:40: now I literally have fifty eight seconds to collect myself.

00:32:43: so second thing that shambles me a little bit.

00:32:48: we experience in this business when you get thrown the left hook from universe.

00:32:54: why is happening?

00:32:55: And my refractory period at point.

00:33:00: Pull your shit together because we got a race to win.

00:33:03: So again, most women will see a wobble or something on the external and they focus on it.

00:33:07: I could have been mad at my coach.

00:33:09: iIcould've been pissed that girl that Got out slower but It was like.

00:33:12: That's all thats going To do is affect My energy in how I perform And run The race.

00:33:16: and Thats Again A lot of the loop Of you can bitch about the three D But its just gonna effect Your performance In your ability to Perform At top levels.

00:33:25: so Our second runner is now coming around, and I'm on the track waiting for her to hand me the baton.

00:33:31: And we're in sixth place.

00:33:33: so there's seven teams that were basically second last.

00:33:36: We are favored to win!

00:33:37: Here was a thing...I am locked.

00:33:39: it didn't matter if they were favored or not and our first start runner did'nt do anything.

00:33:44: It didn't really matter whether we went from fourth to six but actually got worse Again, wobble.

00:33:50: Wobble could have been upset about my coach.

00:33:52: I knew and I get chills thinking about this My job was to run the damn race!

00:33:56: My job wasn't to react...my job because i showed up to practice prior to that And i held my word to myself..i showed up ..I pushed myself ...I had injuries.... I had all of those other things in the past but Because I had patterned The three D ,the external doesn't change how I perform I Was able to lock-in .And as long As people keep reacting To the external you're building the muscle Of reaction not performing.

00:34:19: So I get handed the baton and i always got like full body chills because this is a moment where, And I was probably sixteen maybe seventeen at that time.

00:34:26: so This Was my beginning experience of what it really looks Like to win like internally when My mind and body were working together.

00:34:35: A lot Of women experiences Where their mind Is like im gonna do a million dollars but Their Body is reacting.

00:34:41: or the body is like, I'm so regulated and the mind is like oh i think you're a loser.

00:34:46: So it disconnects!

00:34:47: And as long as mind and body are working against each other we're not going to perform at optimal levels.

00:34:52: but again this is why it's so important every...I find identity in the micromoments.

00:34:59: It's not in the moment where your'e like I feel amazing its in the moments when you go and shit..in the moment that could have been mad.

00:35:07: It was so easy for me to do that because, six months prior I was building the muscle physically but also mentally.

00:35:14: So we're in sixth place as second runners handing me the baton.

00:35:19: there's people literally halfway down the track and i'm like not worrying about it or reacting to it...I run my race mind-and-body working together.

00:35:26: now As I pass fifth place fourth place third you probably get where end of this story is going.

00:35:33: this like the analogy I use is all of the people that i was passing and for everyone listening, it's not about competing with other people.

00:35:40: Those were all the reasons why-I shouldn't have won!

00:35:44: That I didn't use as a reason... It was like pass past.

00:35:47: so by the time I'm coming around the final hundred meters we're in first place.

00:35:52: because I didn' react Because I ran my race hand the baton to their fourth runner.

00:35:56: now what became our anchor?

00:35:58: And We Won The Race.

00:36:00: And I remember my coach came up to me and not to like boast myself, but we won that race because of me.

00:36:06: Because i didn't let all those things.

00:36:08: obviously it was a team effort But any other runner could have wobbled and been like oh My god!

00:36:12: I don't know getting their head...and I was locked in..And I remember his name as Mr Fitts.

00:36:18: He's

00:36:19: such

00:36:19: an influential person In life who really taught the value of winning Like winning when it looks good and winning.

00:36:26: When it looks like you're probably gonna be last.

00:36:28: I didn't let that affect me.

00:36:29: And i remember he put his hands on my shoulders, and he was like You're a fucking machine?

00:36:36: It Was so validating for me, and I was like yeah, I am but if that was such A Pivotal moment I always come back to that story because that's life That's business.

00:36:45: That's literally everything of when your You're the third runner and you were supposed to be fourth.

00:36:51: When your first place, all of these things are going run the race or react half-asset?

00:36:56: And I

00:36:58: think there's so much gold in that story.

00:37:01: of just, you know, checking the box but really being consistent and people always say yeah.

00:37:33: Being consistent.

00:37:34: it's important for visibility For all of the obvious reasons yes But It is also important to build self trust.

00:37:41: And here we are again in science Of confidence right?

00:37:43: So You had put on All the reps To be able In that moment Think about exactly That like Yeah I've done this before I am locked in Now i'm gonna run Just gonna do.

00:37:55: And that's, what it comes down to.

00:37:57: So I think there is something interesting right now That i do not agree with of like Do less and i'm Like why would you want?

00:38:05: To do less Of the very thing that You're telling me that you love?

00:38:08: and It's like if you want to be The best you are gonna have to Be a little maniacal about the amount of reps that you put in.

00:38:14: but it's like the reps and this Is where people get this confused as they Think make more, do less or like you said quality.

00:38:23: You get to that point!

00:38:25: I'm at a point now where i am doing both quality and quantity but the quality is there because of what's in it.

00:38:33: For me this was when I love hard work.

00:38:37: When running track & field training for scholarship I love the reps.

00:38:43: Well, i don't want to do less of it now.

00:38:44: does that mean?

00:38:45: I'm glued to my phone twenty-first seven and don't have a life?

00:38:47: no obviously not.

00:38:49: but It's like this concept of Like.

00:38:51: I don't wanna put the reps in And I'm like.

00:38:53: well why?

00:38:54: because there's something In that cuz.

00:38:55: it's like if this is the work That you love and that's that's the inertia that's upper limit.

00:38:59: If you've been in A lot Of You know your action has looked like whatever it Is.

00:39:04: you do have to increase the reps.

00:39:07: And again, this is across-the-board.

00:39:08: Olympic athletes are putting in more reps than those that are just playing at a college level because they're obsessed and that's why they're so good.

00:39:15: but be... They love the game!

00:39:16: That thing like I love putting in the reps because it's the work that iIove.

00:39:21: and to your point content and sales especially is a skill and any skill You only get better at by reps.

00:39:30: Yes full stop exactly.

00:39:33: Let's talk about Mic Drop.

00:39:35: Let's talked about inertia, you started this challenge.

00:39:39: I think it was in the first of August right?

00:39:41: so a week ago?

00:39:43: Yeah So we did like a pregame call on the twenty eighth of July but yeah The august third actually is when We had our First Call three months.

00:39:54: Yes, you're ten days in and I want to ask you what have been the most surprising moments?

00:40:00: In this container so far where you were like ooh that's a really cool shift of one of my clients or that something you learned maybe That-that You wouldn't Have known before.

00:40:10: i think A few things for me is how quickly women can change like how quickly their business and their identity can change.

00:40:19: And I've seen this in inertia, i've seen it previous.

00:40:22: there's something about thirty days when people just lock-in they focus the winds.

00:40:28: yes monetarily have been massive Like women are going from not having great visibility to posting a piece of content and going viral in front the right people.

00:40:36: And having, you know other than it's like twenty five people coming into their offer six K pay and foals feeling a lot.

00:40:42: all of it.

00:40:43: It's crazy how quick that can happen?

00:40:46: I think one of the biggest things That i Know but this was just another validation is there's A different level Of energy when You put a group of highly committed Women In a space together Even though we have calls twice a week Then We Have Telegram for those or VIP, but there's a collective energy of the space and like everyone is locked in.

00:41:05: Everyone is winning And there's something palpable about that.

00:41:10: I'm obsessed with it.

00:41:11: So i think one of the biggest things Is I am blown away by how quickly women can change In a conversation Whether they have a conversation With me whether They're listening to The trainees Or simply just By sitting on A call it all unlocked.

00:41:26: It's like unlock, unlock, lock where everything is just clicking for them.

00:41:30: from a strategy perspective but also when it comes to upper limits.

00:41:34: sometimes and I've seen this with a lot of the women they kept hitting the upper limit because they were aware that it was a Limit To Begin With And now That They Have Awareness Of It They Can Catch It.

00:41:43: When You Catch It Repattern Again.

00:41:45: So Thats I Would Say One Of The Biggest Things.

00:41:49: The Other Thing That i would say more so From A Strategy But Also I Guess Energetic Is And we've been working on this in inertia is from a content perspective people are I say, People aren't speaking plain English.

00:42:01: Like i don't know what that means In your context of articulation Of peoples work?

00:42:07: In terms of communicating it in A way That feels like english not ai.

00:42:11: that Feels like you're actually having a conversation.

00:42:15: and again We've done This so much in the container but for me It's like Not hilarious.

00:42:21: Oh, like a lot of people just would make so much more money if it again to our point.

00:42:25: It's nothing to do with identity.

00:42:27: you Just need to communicate More clearly

00:42:29: and also sometimes And that's how I use mentorship You just need Like one sentence or One call then your like.

00:42:39: That is exactly what I needed to hear.

00:42:41: And then everything just falls into place, so that's why I love containers like that and I love inertia.

00:42:45: if there's somebody listening right now who was in a state of transition?

00:42:50: Who feels like ooh!

00:42:51: I'm bumping against glass ceiling...I feel something there but i don't really know how to break through it Like no one upper limiting myself because im self conscious woman But I am stuck.

00:43:04: What would you say?

00:43:05: The

00:43:07: first thing I would say is to stop identifying with being stuck and stopped by identifying, with being in that season.

00:43:12: Even if everything is telling you're not because then again i'm really big on language.

00:43:17: so If hear a client for after two months like im an evolution your done evolving And from there the brain opens up looking at if were done evolving You had all of the answers ,you have done the shedding.

00:43:30: what's the firsing that ure gonna do?

00:43:35: so it shifts a little bit of the perspective, the language.

00:43:38: So that's the first thing is if you're done evolving which you are and then It's like making that decision for yourself Of You're Done Evolving Your Done Shedding What Step One?

00:43:47: You don't need to know step two three four what's step one?

00:43:49: Step one Is And whatever That Looks Like For You!

00:43:52: Then I think The Other Thing Is When You'Re Coming Out Of A Season Of Evolvin There Is A Level Of Building Up The Momentum Again And I think a lot of women come out of evolution and they think day one is like, They're flying high.

00:44:10: You have to rebuild that muscle.

00:44:11: it's like stamina right?

00:44:13: Like when i rebuilds running outside because I live in Canada so I can't run outside In the winter...I mean I can but probably slip on my eyes.

00:44:20: The first run isn't easy!

00:44:21: I'm like whoa My leg all of that.

00:44:23: So I think When Women Can Just Go In Knowing that there's probably going to be about a two week resistant period, and let that be okay.

00:44:30: Let that be

00:44:31: normal.".

00:44:32: That you coming back into who this new identity is?

00:44:35: You're on the other side of evolution but that's the first thing.

00:44:38: as like if you've done evolving or done shedding your out-of-your pivot.

00:44:42: both feet are on the ground.

00:44:43: what do we doing

00:44:44: now?".

00:44:45: And your ego might say well I don't...you have make decision.

00:44:48: i dont know isn an answer What step one was the action?

00:44:51: because he will try justify it.

00:44:53: no You have to make a decision as of listening to this podcast and then go implement it.

00:44:57: And, and then you do it?

00:44:59: Okay now what's the next

00:45:00: step?".

00:45:01: Then just build on the building blocks.

00:45:03: that so again always comes back into action.

00:45:05: but also I stop associating with...I'm

00:45:22: evolving!
